About This Course
This course is designed for learners who are beginning their journey in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi or who are still developing foundational language skills. It is especially suited for learners who are not yet able to construct grammatically accurate sentences, even with provided vocabulary. The course focuses on building confidence and accuracy in pronunciation, reading, and writing, while supporting learners in forming short, simple sentences on familiar topics. Learning experiences emphasize both spoken and written language, creating a supportive environment for learners to grow their language proficiency and deepen their connection to ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi.
