About the event

SESSION 1/2*

This course supports kumu in exploring how artificial intelligence can be used intentionally to strengthen Haumāna-Centered Learning and differentiated instruction. The course frames AI as a tool that supports and extends kumu expertise, not replaces it. Kumu examine how AI can increase access, clarity, and rigor for diverse learners while remaining grounded in ʻŌiwi Edge.

Participants work with their own instructional materials to explore how AI may support differentiation of content, process, and product, while maintaining high expectations and professional integrity. Emphasis is placed on exercising professional judgment, critically evaluating AI outputs for relevance, bias, and alignment to learning goals, so that AI use remains in service of haumāna growth and learning.
